Directly From You
When you register an account, enter exam scores, complete assessments, or contact us.
From Your Institution
If you're using Prism Prep as part of a university-sponsored cohort, your program provides us your name and email address so we can set up your account.

Through cookies and similar technologies as you use our Services. See Section 6 (Cookies) for detail.
04 How We Use Your Data
We use your personal information to:
- Deliver the Service: create your account, generate your personalized study plan, and provide core platform features
- Personalize: tailor your study plan and recommendations to your progress
- Improve the Product: analyze usage patterns to identify improvements
- Communicate: send account-related notices and, with your consent, product updates
- Support You: respond to questions and resolve issues
- Process Payments: handle transactions and billing
- Report to Partner Institutions: if you're part of a university-sponsored cohort, produce progress reports for that institution (see Section 5)
- Comply with the Law: meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
07 Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure storage of account credentials
- Access limited to authorized personnel
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and any applicable authorities as required by law.
08 Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
09 Not Intended for Children
Our Services are designed for adult students enrolled in graduate-level physical therapy education and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@myprismprep.com and we will delete it.
10 Your Rights & Choices
You may:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us

11 California Privacy Rights
If you're a California resident, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party tools. This Privacy Policy doesn't apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice within the Services at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
